Byes & Default forfeit time:

No half-point byes (only zero point byes)

Withdrawls must be submitted to the Organizer/Chief TD atleast 2 hours before the Round start (Teams not withdrawing properly will be fined $150)

A player and/or team will forfeit the game if they are not present at the board within 1 hour (60 minutes) after the start of the round.

o   Plaques to top Division II (2000-2199), Division III (1800-1999), Division IV (1600-1799), Division V (1400-1599) teams

o   Plaque to top four-year small college team (<5000 enrollment)

o   Plaque to top all-female team

o   Plaque to best Mixed Doubles team (2 males and 2 females)

o   Top team upset in all 6 rounds

IMPORTANT – MUST READ (Deadline to Submit all Eligibility paperwork is Dec 31st 2021 midnight ET)

·        Each Team must submit the Eligibility letters from the Registrar by December 31st (The instructions for the Registrar are in the Official rules). For any questions regarding the Eligibility letter and/or to Submit the Letter from Registrar, contact GM Alex Onischuk (US Chess College Committee Chair)

·        Bring the original copy to the event.  This must be signed and stamped by the University Registrar and is required for any player to enter the event.

NOTE ON NEW FIDEIDs FOR FOREIGN PLAYERS - If your Team's Foreign player doesn't have a FIDEID and they will be representing their FIDE Country, they will need to request the FIDEIDs from their Federation before registering for the Tournament. US Chess will not apply for their Foreign FIDEIDs.

KEY DEADLINES  (Eligibility forms due by: Dec 31st Midnight 

·        Early Entry Fee $225/Team by 12/3/2021 midnight ET (EXTENDED UNTIL 12/10/2021 Midnight)

·        Regular Entry Fee $250/Team by 12/17/2021 midnight ET

·        Late Entry Fee $275/Team until 1/5/2022 midnight ET

·        Entries after 1/5 midnight $325/Team (Onsite 10am - 12pm ET) – Eligibility Forms due onsite by 12pm

> Submit Rosters by Jan 3rd 2022 6pm ET

> Submit Team Order by Jan 6th 2022 12pm ET

> Submit Team Line-ups for each round by 1hr before each Round

REFUND POLICY: Full refund until midnight Dec 30th 2021 ; $25 Service charge after Dec 30th and until Jan 5th 2022 midnight ; NO REFUNDS AFTER JAN 5th 2022
